Test Lab
TIS S.p.A. ownes a laboratory equipped to carry out tests on structural bearings, isolators or bridge joints.
This reality is in constant evolution, conditioned by needs coming either from the market or from the Research & Design sector. It's an irreplaceable instrument per the adjustment of the new technologies or for the qualified control activity of contruction protocols, material acceptance and/or systems expected from the "Quality Control".
The tests that are carried out inside the lab can be official or routine.
In the first case they are done in presence of confirmed third party entities such as the RM-3 University, the University of Basilicata or the certification company Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
If tests require installations or machinery not available inside the lab, TIS S.p.A. relies on DiSGG of UNI-Ba, on the test lab of ENEA Casaccia or on the lab of the University of Pavia. In this moment there is a collaboration in progress with the University RM-1 "La Sapienza" for the retrofitting of the test lab of the architecture faculty for tests on isolating systems.
